Guy’s and St. Thomas

Guy’s and St. Thomas

We helped one of London’s largest hospitals re-write its electronic design guide for all its construction work. The 363-page document covers all aspects of the design of clinical and non-clinical spaces and is intended to co-ordinate the Trust’s requirements for architectural and engineering disciplines. Topics of particular focus includes how building and interior spaces achieve ease of wayfinding, privacy and dignity for patients and communicate a professional and reassuring character.

The completed guide is now available on the Trust's intranet and is used by project management, design and construction teams at the hospital's many sites.
